Paper submission:

Papers must be formatted according to the templates given below and submitted electronically through the EasyChair web site by the "Paper Submission Deadline" specified in the "Important Dates" of ISS 2015 web site (see the instructions on online submission updated 19.01.2015). Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

 

Language:

English is the working language of ISS 2015.

 

Requirements for electronic files:

Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF file. Make sure that all fonts used in the paper are EMBEDDED. A way to check this:

 

(1) Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.

(2) "File" -> "Properties" -> "Fonts"

    (i.e., from the "File" menu, select "Properties", and from the

    "Document Properties" dialog box, click on the "Fonts" tab.)

(3) On the fonts tab, "Embedded" or "Embedded Subset" must appear

    next to each font.

 

Formatting rules:

The manuscript should be 6 pages or less in the format given in the templates. File size is limited to 3 MB in PDF. Do NOT insert any headers, footers, or page numbers.

Special Issue in JAMDSM:

Special issue on "Advanced Production Scheduling" will be planned in the Journal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing (JAMDSM), the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).
